ProQuest will be installing an update to their system, designed to enhance the Dissertations & Theses database. Since scholars are increasingly providing supplemental digital materials – i.e., audio, video, spreadsheets, etc. – with their dissertation or thesis, this update will make it possible to access those materials within the ProQuest interface.
This update will be installed on Saturday, Dec. 15th starting at 10:00 pm, and will finish at approximately 10:00 am on Sunday, Dec. 16th. During these 12 hours, all ProQuest databases will be inaccessible.
This includes: ABI/Inform, Banking Information Source, Hoover’s Company Records, Research Library, Newspapers, Dissertations & Theses, GenderWatch, Criminal Justice Periodicals Index, and MLA International Bibliography.
