Doris Lessing display in library for April
April 7, 2008 — mahoneylibraryA prolific and socially-conscious writer, Doris Lessing grew up in the Middle East and Africa. She was exiled from South Africa and spent most of her adult life in Britain. In 2007 she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. Several of her books are currently on display in the library lobby.
