The American Psychological Association has issued new guidelines related to electronic sources, including wikis, blogs, video clips, podcasts, as well as e-journals and articles from library databases.
Mahoney Library has developed a guide that reflects the new guidelines for online sources, as well as the general guidelines for print sources. To access the guide, click Instruction & Tutorials from the library’s home page, then click Format Papers & Citations and look for the APA style heading.

The guidelines for books and physical media remain the same. The Publication Manual of the APA, 5th edition (REF 808.06615 P96AP), is still the most current source for citing print sources and DVDs, videotapes or other physical media.
For further information on citing electronic resources, see the APA Style Guide to Electronic References (2007, REF 808 A639e), available in the library reference room.
